A Taste of Venice in Portland, Oregon

To take this cooking class, you must be able to climb 58 steps but you don't need to cross the Atlantic.  Celia's U.S. residence is in Southwest Portland, Oregon on a hill with a panoramic view as green as the Venetian lagoon.  Her spacious kitchen can accommodate individual classes or a party up to 8 people for hands-on lessons in fresh pasta, risottos, typical Venetian entrees, and desserts. You will sip prosecco and listen to gondolier serenading while preparing an authentic meal and learning about the history of the dishes and their origins. You may be shocked to learn how tiramisu was invented!
